Tasting- Yellow Tail

Image
This Cabernet Sauvignon from Yellow Tail from the year 2016. From Australia the wine was on sale at food lion for 10.               A reviewer wrote, “This is my favorite wine by far. Rich and fruity. Spiced raspberries and cherry. A touch of sweetness. Very smooth. You would not think it's the price that it is. I enjoy drinking it with a meal or just to relax after a long day. It's so much better than some of the more expensive brands”. This has been my favorite wine so far, fruity and creamy in my opinion is very easy to drink despite its richness. It did not pair well with Ramen.

White peach lemon, lychee, grapefruit. Very toned down and almost watery.” I do not particular...

As my siblings and cousins and I got older our families would allow us to try different wines, which was wasted on us in our youth. My mom was a fan of Silver Oak and after looking it up I’m disappointed I don’t remember trying it. Two summers ago my extended family spent 2 weeks seeing a few cities in Italy. In the town of Castiglioncello we would make family meal and the center piece was half a carboy of wine. This large amount of cheap wine was contrasted with a harshness against the wine tasting we were lucky enough to be part of in the vineyards around Florence. The only wine I remember well was a sangiovese, which has ...
